Who needs home care?
Anyone who requires help with daily routine activities such as dressing, grooming, meal preparation, running errands, etc., and who desires to stay in their own home rather than live in an institutional environment or live with relatives. In some cases, in home care services may be needed temporarily or intermittently because a regular family caregiver may need time off from care giving responsibilities.
How are your caregivers selected?
Kansas Elder Care provides you with the highest quality caregivers by sticking to its core principle: we hire the most caring, compassionate, conscientious and professional caregivers to take care of you or your loved one. Our caregivers are experienced professional s who are carefully screened via a rigorous background check and fully insured and bonded through our company in order to put your mind at ease and provide the best care possible. Many of our caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants. In addition, some also possess Bachelor degrees and/or are in the process of obtaining further certifications and degrees.
How long does it take to get a caregiver?
After we meet with you for the initial in home assessment in order to properly assess your needs, in home care service can begin soon after. We are constantly in the process of screening and hiring skilled caregivers so that we always have a qualified caregiver ready to begin helping you or your loved one with daily routines and needs at a moment’s notice.
What happens if my caregiver is sick or needs to take time off?
We have a constant supply of qualified, skilled and compassionate caregivers ready to step in and continue care in case of any sickness, emergency or other scheduled time off on the part of your regular caregivers.
Who pays the caregiver and how do they get paid?
All caregivers are employees of Kansas Elder Care™. Invoices for service are issued to our customers on a weekly basis. Prompt payment of invoices is always appreciated as it allows us to pay our caregivers in a timely fashion. Home Care Service™ utilizes a state-of-the-art caregiver monitoring system that tracks to the minute the time the caregiver arrives and the time they leave in order to ensure accurate record keeping. This enables us to provide more accurate invoicing for our customers.
